Sewer Encounter Battlemap (SPOILERS)

**Spoiler Alert!! The following contains references to Chapter 1 of Waterdeep Dragon Heist which, while not world-shattering, may dampen the surprise of the game if you are a player in the early stages of this campaign. This post is for DMs who are interested in enhancing their game with some extra assets**


In the first chapter of WDDH, characters are led into the sewers beneath Waterdeep in search of a Zhentarim hideout. The module makes this a relatively straightforward task for the players, having the correct passages and tunnels clearly marked, and providing one combat encounter for the players to overcome before reaching their goal. Below is a battlemap I put together to use for this encounter, though whether this is indeed the only combat they see in the course of searching for the Zhentarim hideout is of course, as always, up to you as the DM. Despite being made based on the descriptions in the “Navigating the Sewers” section of Chapter 1 it can be easily adapted for any dungeon, cistern, or sewer setting. Please feel free to save a copy of the image if you might find it useful in your own game(s).
